Alpaca Farm Tour
Looking for a fun farm experience just outside of DC? An amazing animal encounter in Virginia? Welcome to Skyfiber Ranch Alpacas, a boutique alpaca farm nestled in the rolling hills of Fauquier County, Virginia—about an hour from Washington, DC!
Our farm visits are private and personal—just you, or your small group, and plenty of alpaca time. No crowds, no distractions, just a chance to connect with these fuzzy charmers up close and de-stress. Visits are designed to create special memories with our precious alpacas.
Great for families, friends, or individuals intrigued by alpacas. We also have chickens, guineas, and livestock guardian dogs.

A Few Friendly Guidelines
- Wear closed-toe shoes (trust us, alpaca fields open-toe or high heels don’t mix!).
- Tours are outdoors—dress for the weather. If it storms or it's really cold and windy, we’ll reschedule.
- No pets, food, drinks, smoking, or vaping—our alpacas prefer it.
- Please note: no-shows won't be refunded.
Alpaca Etiquette
Our alpacas are curious and friendly, but they’re also independent spirits. Some love to come up to say hello, and others like to hang back and watch. If you'd like, you can feed them with snacks we provide.

* Farm tours are closed July–August so our alpacas can beat the heat in comfort! However, if the weather permits, we may open an appointment or two.
