Skyfiber Ranch Alpacas: Located in beautiful Marshall, Virginia near the Washington DC metro area, our solar-powered farm combines sustainable farming practices with exceptional true black alpaca breeding.
With a herd rooted in rich and diverse genetics, we're confident in our ability to provide you with high-quality, healthy productive alpacas-especially our favorite color- true black. As black fleece continues to be the most sought-after and valuable color, we've continued to focus on breeding exceptional black alpacas—prioritizing strong conformation and continuously improving fleece quality. We use the GCPM™ (Generationally Confirmed Phenotype Model) for breeding black alpacas in addition to other tools like histograms, etc.
While our focus may be breeding top-quality black alpacas, we’re proud to have award-winning alpacas in other stunning colors too. No matter the color, our commitment to conformation, fleece quality, health and genetic excellence remains the same.
